“My ZipFit liners have over 450 ski days on them. My new Lange Shadows had a little too much lower heel to bottom of ankle space. I used the cork tube to precisely place just enough cork material into the lower pockets to successfully improve the fit.”
“Customization made easy. I like that I can easily add more cork to the areas I need it. This year I changed shells and needed a bit more on the sides of each foot. Pro tip - save the empty tubes, they make for a great tool to remove cork.”
“Heat it up, add to the boot, does what it is supposed to do. Zipfit's instructional videos are helpful for visualizing, and navigating, the inside of the pouch.”
“Hard to get. Had to closely watch the website and buy it immediately or pay premium price at a shop where someone had previously scooped up a bunch.
The only liner, according to the shop- I didn’t check but I (still) believe them, that fit my boot is on 16 tubes of cork. None of that came with the liners. $240. That doesn’t seem right. I would think some would be included in the puchase price.
But, I like them. They’re warmer than my previous injection molded (hard) foam liners and more adjustable post-purchase. Definitely get the boot horn!”
Thanks for your review! Adding 16 tubes of cork to a pair of ZipFits is far more than expected. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying the innerboots and that you could easily customize your liners at home. A note on how we think about fit: if a skier is in an accurately sized shell and selects the correct ZipFit for their foot and shell, ideally no cork needs to be added and if some does need to added, two tubes per liner should suffice. There are certainly exceptions to this. Thanks for giving ZipFits and try and for customizing them to your liking.
Vincent, thanks for your clear directions in your review. We will do our best to make the adding cork instructions as easily accessible as possible. Cheers!
