Great to buy the Adafruit version of this chip and support the great work they've done on circuit python libraries. It's really useful to use this breakout to drive development of displays on typical workstations that don't have GPIO and SPI. Typically requires some modification of projects which are otherwise targeting the raspberry pi directly, but circuit python makes that very doable.
