I have been a customer of One Call for several years. However I was extremely alarmed upon arriving home from holiday abroad to find my car insurance had been cancelled less than ONE HOUR after I had been sent a renewal reminder. This meant I had driven home from Heathrow airport without knowing that I was uninsured. I contacted One Call immediately and spoke to supervisor NS4, who confirmed that I was not covered but could not explain how the mistake had been made. Nonetheless he did say that if I had had an accident I would have been in serious trouble. This I found very disturbing. However he was gracious enough to apologise for the mistake and promised to make sure this would not happen in future.
I have re-insured my car for another 12 months and expect this will never happen again.
