I was very impressed with the lady (KB6) who dealt with me on 3 June. She was clear and very helpful and she quickly dealt with my problems. Previously, I had had problems with the company: a letter inviting renewal of my policy never arrived in mid-May; and the telephone number given in documents to contact the company turned out to be wrong (relating to motor, not home, policies). This left me hanging on the phone for 15 minutes on 2 June and I had to start all over again when I eventually got through and obtained the correct number. Also, the documentation I was sent was inconsistent, sometimes recording that I had buildings but no contents insurance. KB6 explained that this was because Aviva, the insurer, was having computer problems, and she was able to correct the error for me, for which I was grateful.
