I received calls from 2 suppliers before I even had time to read the quotes. Accepted the first but had no way of knowing which was his quote. All I had to prove the caller was genuine was that the callers number on my phone matched that the company name he gave me. At the time I felt I could easily have been giving my card details to a scammer. Else all OK.
