Easy process BUT, international visitors don't normally have access to printers, UK registered credit cards (not an issue in this case), UK registered house or mobile phone numbers, (or even have a phone while overseas), systems are geared towards halting all process if certain 'fields' aren't completed, then the process becomes 'unfriendly'.
