I have taught three of my own children to read from this program and tutored 3 others. The growth is astounding. I think the most effective part is that there aren't any "gotcha" words. Words that they have never seen before that are going to mess them up like "tomorrow" or "yesterday". The progressive addition of sight words and sticking to the phonetic basics is WHAT THEY NEED! I recommend this program to EVERY age group that is either learning or struggling to read.
