I purchased the wrong scooter for my son from the College Park store (completely my fault) and they generously gave me a full refund. They were under no obligation to do this and I was extremely grateful as I had to purchase another one and would have been significantly out of pocket. It was an easy, straightforward experience in the otherwise stressful lead-up to Christmas.
