Barclaycard customer service is nonexistent! On 10/12 and 10/28/2020 my account was fraudulently charged for a total of $375.96. Barclays told me to call the vendor (phone number on my statement) and was told by the vendor to contact Barclays and told by Barclays to send them a detailed letter and they would open a dispute claim. And while the charges were being disputed, I would not be charged interest on them. But on my next statement I was charged $8.56 in interest. Finally, on 01/25/2021, after 3 months of getting nowhere with anyone, Barclays sent me a letter saying they were unable to assist me any further because "the merchant was not given the opportunity to resolve the claim". Three months isn't enough time? I closed the account and said so long to $384.52.
