My personal credit limit was decimated although I have an excellent credit rating, good earned income plus pension income, no dependents, own my house outright and have never defaulted on payments of any kind. I was informed of this by means of an extremely offensive letter. Well, it's their loss. It was the final push to get me to move away from their awful business banking to a better provider (luckily my personal banking has long been with a decent bank rather than with Barclays.
