I have been a barclaycard customer for many years, over thirty. I make relatively little use of the card but on using it today 2 Jan 24 it was declined. I called to find out and have so far been hanging on on the customer phone line for 53 mins with repeated assurances that we will get you to our team as quickly as we can. There is no estimate of the time. There is no statement as to how many callers are in front in the queue. It is a terrible customer service line.
