I called up customer service and asked why I had a balance on my card that was locked the representative had tried to help me out by calling the business that billed me. I told them I had no idea why I was being billed. So the rep had me on a 3 way call with the company. While I was on hold for over 1 hour I was dropped by the representative and the company that billed my card. I called back again and now I was told they do not call companies that I’m claiming billed me by mistake!fraud. The rep did not move from her position there was nothing they could do. I asked how the first representative was helping me but I as cutoff to no avail. I then asked to talk to her manager Again I was put on hold. So now I’ve been on the phone for a total of 1.75 hours. The manager also told me that they don’t call the business that billed me. Once again I told her that the first rep had connected me to a 3 way call with the business but at some point I was dropped off of on hold. The manager again said there was nothing she could do. So I asked about issuing a fraud claim and she said it was not a fraud charge. So unfortunately the second representative and her manager were absolutely useless in assisting me. I then ended up calling the company after researching their number on the internet. I had told them my concerns and after another hour on the phone they credited my account.to Barclays. I don’t know how many years I have been with Barclays. I made sure I canceled my account. Except for the first representative everyone else was absolutely useless
