I spend 45 minutes, yes, 45 minutes on the phone trying to resolve an issue. I received a call from a "Spam" number. I never answer spam calls. The caller left a message. It was a call from Barclay's security so I called back in less than 5 minutes. I thought it was fishy because of the spam phone number, so I called the number on the back of my card. Sure enough, it was a call from the security department. I had to verify all sorts of information and then was told, Never mind, we already canceled the transaction. WHAT? Then they told me that a hold was placed on my account and I would have to wait up to four days to use the account. I was transferred twice, disconnected, once, and asked to verify my information three times. The customer service is the worst ever. In four days, after this issue is resolved, I'm cashing out my points and cancelling the card. Bad customer service is an understatement.
