Well where to begin.
I choose a very nice coat as my Christmas present from blacks.
Only after a couple of weeks the coat developed a small tear over the pocket.
I tried to return it to blacks receipt in hand, thinking that it would be a simple return an refund, but oh no...
They refused to replace it or refund, saying it's the companies policy to send all faulty goods for inspection. It should take about three weeks!
I asked to talk to a manager, but was instead given a phone number to ring! Oh and we don't have a phone for you to use here!
20 minutes of waiting on the phone ( in the shop lol) I got through to a person.
I tried to explain about the problem, sales of goods act etc. Fit for purpose ( water proof jacket with a split). Reasonable quality.....
Six weeks? No avail. A very defensive and indifferent attitude.
I got the impression , WE have your money and WE get to check if WE think you damaged it.
I will not be shopping at blacks ever again
