Would not rely on Checkatrade to actually check their trades. Also suspect many reviews of traders on checkatrade are fake.
Multiple contractors don't respond when trying to contact for a quote on checkatrade.
Ones that do are unprofessional, do not provide what they say they will provide, bully you into making payment before job is completed.
