I am a consumer and checkatrade is a farce!
Encountered so many problems with their traders.
One of them came to replace some roof tiles and in the same time decided to concrete my roof verges that collapsed few weeks later. Another recently cleaned my roof and managed to break 7 tiles then lied about it.
When I asked checkatrade about their guarantee was told 'it depends' depends on what?
My negative reviews not published, I had to take to court the bad roofer and looks like it be the same for the roof cleaners!
