It is now 8 days my family sent gifts for my 70th birthday on 4th August. DHL's UK operation assured them it would reach me in time, which they knew full well it would not, as DHL Lisbon customs had other ideas - it took them 3 days, and a lot of argument, to get it through. The gift parcel was then handed to DHL's courier partners who, after five hours with it, stated they could not find my address (a common occurance seemingly when you look at the multiple complaints posted on review sites). I have provided DHL with maps, co-ordinates, possible nearby pick up points along with my telephone number. There is now no response from their Customer Services. What an absolute shambles this Company's Portuguese operation is. They are not fit for purpose and should be thoroughly ashamed of using the term, " EXCELLENCE SIMPLY DELIVERED" in their advertisements.
