Mum purchased me an Ottoman bed from them, we were advised that the bed would come from the manufacturer and we were to wait on a phone call from them. Annoyingly, we missed the phone call twice. The first time, we were out and assuming that if we missed the call, they would keep calling us until we answered, didnt happen. When my Mum phoned up Freemans, they apparently assumed the bed had "had already been delivered".
Second time we were waiting on the call, conveniently we again missed the call due to being busy but I only just managed to answer. The phone went dead and I tried to ring the company back. The call was a "Courtesy Call" and we couldnt use it to ring back the company, it instead telling us "track your delivery online at [I-forgot-the-company-name.com]". This was 3 days ago, been waiting on this bed coming for weeks.
You should not need to wait at the companys descretion for an order YOU paid for, said company should have rang us back until we answered, not allow us to miss the call and let Freemans assume the thing was delivered.
