I closed my account years ago after 1 service failure too many. They changed my mother's maiden name (security) question to my current surname, firstly suggesting that I was an illegitimate child and secondly making it impossible to pass security. The final straw was when I was in a branch waiting for a friend to do his banking and a security guard asked me what I was doing there! What an affront, how very dare you, you tsotsi! The good news is my son wants a cowboy outfit, so I'm buying him shares in Halifax.
