My brother in law is an RAC member and has received a Direct Debit renewal notice. Trouble is, he's been diagnosed with dementia and will never drive again. They've been told this and we can provide diagnosis proof but they refuse to stop the DD because we don't yet have legal guardianship over his affairs, which will take months. So they'll be raking in £275 for nothing. RAC - you should hang your heads in shame.
