RAC Warranty – what a mockery of a policy. I bought a car, and within the initial two months, the turbo failed despite the vehicle having only 20,000 miles.
The Turbo had coolant and oil issues, but due to the slightest trace of carbon, the entire claim was abruptly cancelled. This decision was made despite the carbon being minuscule and impossible to accumulate significantly in the 1,000 miles I had driven the car.
I was assured that RAC was the best, seeking peace of mind at the age of 18. Instead, they brought about stress, aggravation, and prolonged delays in getting the car repaired. Eventually, the burden fell on the garage where I purchased the car, causing a three-month period without a vehicle and rendering me unable to work during that time.
In essence, it's a complete joke – strongly recommend steering clear.
