Engine overheating, had to turn engine off as concerned my catch fire. Contacted RAC at 14.50, told patrol would arrive between 16.00 and 18.00. Then had a call saying patrol would arrive at 16.50. At 17.15, checked on line and found a message timed at 16.57 indicating patrol would now arrive between 19.00 and 21.00. We managed to limp home but would never recommend RAC breakdown cover to anyone. We're busy warning our friends and work colleagues to avoid!!
