Battery died while I was visiting my son. Reported the breakdown at 1530 hrs ,I was given a time of between 1750 and 1950 hrs. No one arrived and then I was allocated a new time of 2320 and 0220 . I was then contacted and asked if I would leave it until the following morning. My son had to take me home and meet the RAC guy when he turned up at 1030 hrs. The best part of the whole thing was the RAC mechanic who sourced and fitted a new battery. Don’t bother complaining because I’ve been through that after a previous breakdown . They refer you to an “ independent adjudicator who is as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
