Over the past five years, I have been a loyal customer of the RAC , despite never having utilised its services. This year, I received an email regarding my renewal, informing me that the price had increased by approximately 90% compared to last year. When I attempted to cancel my subscription, I was informed that I would not receive a full refund due to “administrative costs.” The representative also advised me that if I am dissatisfied with the service, I should contact the financial ombudsman.
This experience is deeply disappointing.
