RAC Took My Money and My Trust — Never Again! After years of being a loyal RAC customer, I took out combined insurance and breakdown cover — trusting their name. Huge mistake. They put me with a terrible underwriter (less than 2 stars on Trustpilot!). When I called within hours to switch, the only other option they offered was at double the price. I had no choice but to cancel — and even that was a nightmare. Impossible to reach anyone properly; online service was useless. In the end, they refused to refund my full payment. They clearly don’t care about loyalty or customer service anymore. RAC has lost my trust forever. Avoid them if you value your time and money.
