When it takes 7 hours for a patrolman to come you have plenty of time to do some research. Saw this https://www.whatcar.com/advice/owning/which-is-the-best-breakdown-service/n1215 review on what whatcar which basically says RAC is most expensive and slowest recovery service.
My personal experience is 4 out of 4 recoveries in 20 years have taken over 4 hours.
Finally decided to move. Why didn’t I go 19 years ago
