Have used stubhub for years and, in the past, the customer service was good. If the seller didn't come through, stubhub would find a replacement ticket and then charge the seller for any difference.
Recently purchased tickets and then, a few weeks later, was told "the seller cannot fulfill the order."
Spent lots of time on the phone with call centers in India or who knows where. Each person would say, "we'll send you a link to get replacement tickets." And then no link would come.
I go on stubhub and see plenty of tickets for sale...at a much higher price than I paid.
Most likely the seller decided he could get more by relisting the tickets. Or he never had them in the first place.
Finally called back after two weeks of this and was flatly told, "you are not getting the tickets. You can only get a refund."
Luckily this is a local show, but what if I had booked travel around this concert?
Bottom line: do not trust Stubhub. Their guarantee is no longer true.
