We spent almost $1000 on two tickets for an event 7 months in advance. Upon learning that the event DID NOT GUARANTEE US SEATS despite paying almost $500 per ticket, we decided to sell out tickets.
We also learned that the tickets, paid for 7 months in advance, may not arrive by Sept 19th, at which point we would be at the event, out of state, and not able to receive them. Horrible arrangement.
I spent 2 hours on the phone tonight trying to find a person who spoke clear English and who understood the policies of releasing a ticket for sale. Finally, at almost midnight, I asked for a supervisor and was told, "I don't think one will be available to pick up your call". When I asked, several times, if he meant there were no supervisors on duty, he said no, there were supervisors but "they are busy". I said I'd wait. He said I shouldn't bc they would remain busy. Repeatedly I asked if there were any supervisors even on duty, as they are a 24-hour number, and he finally admitted after 15 minutes of going round and round that NO, there aren't any supervisors on duty for the next 12 hours. The people I spoke to were unhelpful and gave conflicting information. Everyone refused to back up what they were saying with a written email.
They made $350 selling me the tickets in the first place and now stand to make 15% of the value if the tickets sell. The person who buys them will also pay 10% of the sale to them.
