I bought a parking pass for David Gilmour at the Hollywood bowl three months ago. The pass was supposed to be within 1.5 miles but that wasn’t even advertised when I bought them. It turns out that the parking lot that they assigned me to is 2.2 miles away, which is easily a 45 minute walk one direction, there are plenty of parking spots for the price and under what I paid for this ticket near the Hollywood bowl. I called in a few times. They told me to expect an email before the show which is tonight. I never got it. I called them up again. They told me that I was guaranteed to get a proper ticket or my money back. The operator tonight told me that it’s my tough luck. They have a Google map screenshot showing the true distance, but they dug in their heels.
Nobody wants to walk 45 minutes before and after a show. To add insult to injury, that particular parking lot is in the middle of nowhere charges a day rate of nine dollars.
I won’t use Stubhub again. And my recommendation to check out the website Parkopedia hopefully will get enough people not to use this useless scam site.
