The buyer guarantees are a complete scam. If your event is rescheduled, they don’t help you at all. We paid $100 in fees to stubhub, and then the event was rescheduled. Our only option to get rid of the tickets is to resell them at a lower price since the event was moved from Saturday to Tuesday and stubhub will automatically filter out tickets higher than their recommended price. We are out roughly 65% of what we paid because the event was rescheduled instead of cancelled. That is the loophole. Thanks for nothing stubhub. The only guarantee is to get screwed if something happens out of the customer’s control. Customer service agent actually told me to try and sell them for more to make up the difference, knowing that is impossible. Also works out nicely for them to get to collect fees all over again when everyone has to dump their tickets.
