I purchased tickets for WWE event from StubHub and spent nearly $900 for 2 tickets and then another $30 for parking. When my son and I arrived at the event, we were told that the there was an issue with the tickets and that the venue couldn’t do anything to assist- so we needed to reach out to StubHub for help. When I called StubHub I sat on hold for 10-15 minutes, and was then connected to an agent that was hard to understand and sounded like he was speaking to me underwater with marbles in his mouth. After much back and forth about the issues with the tickets, I was told that StubHub would offer me “comparable” replacement seats since they couldn’t get my tickets to work. However, the “comparable” seats were not even close to where my original seats were nor were they priced in the same range of where my initial seats were. I asked if I would get a refund for the difference and was told that was not an option. After much arguing back and forth, I told the agent and eventually his supervisor that I just wanted a refund. They tried to guilt me into taking the replacement “comparable” seats and said that the refund may not be approved. I stuck to my position and insisted on a refund. It’s been 5 days now and I still haven’t received my $ back, but I was advised it would be refunded eventually. I was fortunately able to buy tickets at the box office of the event, but they were not great seats like I had originally purchased- so that was a bummer - but they were significantly cheaper. I will never buy tickets again through StubHub. My son and I were very upset and embarrassed after being denied entry as a result of the fraudulent tickets StubHub sent me. Moreover the customer service at StubHub was terrible.
