I purchased tickets from StubHub almost a year ago as a Christmas present for my two young daughters. These tickets were supposed to be for a Disney show they have been looking forward to all year. The event is tonight. It starts in two hours, and I still have no tickets. StubHub support told me they would email me back within 20 minutes with a resolution. That was hours ago. I received nothing. Their “FanProtect Guarantee” means nothing in practice — a refund does not undo the damage of ruining an event and a gift that was planned a year in advance. This is not a minor inconvenience. It is a complete failure to provide the product I paid for, after holding my money for nearly a year. The stress and disappointment StubHub has caused my family is unacceptable. I will never use StubHub again, and I want others to be warned. If you are considering purchasing from them, know that you risk losing not just your money, but also the entire experience you are paying for. StubHub cannot be trusted to deliver tickets as promised. Desired Resolution: Immediate accountability and stronger consumer protections. Families should not be treated this way.
