Many years ago (before computers) I would arrange my car insurance through a local insurance broker, we built up a good relationship and whenever I changed my car, cover could be arranged by making a simple and friendly phone call. In more recent times, with the introduction of the internet, I like everyone else became obsessed with looking for the cheapest online quote when it came to renewal. Fine for the first year but usually when renewal came around the next years premium was much higher than expected, often followed by an aggressive phone call pressing me to renew, so back on line looking for a new quote. This year, as a result of a client who just happened to mention they had great service from A-Plan, I decided to ditch the PC and pick up the telephone and call this company. My goodness, what a wonderful experience, being able to speak to a friendly and knowledgeable consultant who not only gave helpful and sound advice but also quoted a very reasonable premium.
