I bought house insurance but had received no details - not even the policy number. I chased that up and asked for the policy wording. I was told an internet link would be sent to me - nothing came. I phoned again and was told the policy wording would be sent to. So far, I have received nothing.
I also took out holiday home insurance - everything went well with that. I would only recommend A plan for holiday home insurance.
