Recieved a call, out of courtesy at 23:50hrs, that there was going to be another hours delay in getting the tow truck as the person who took the contract towing was stuck in another job. I already waited for 90 minutes. The question is; 1. AA insurance I am a member of, paying the fee- does a big company that makes all the promises at the time of signing the policy have only one tow truck to service the Auckland region? 2. In the last of the 90 minutes of the waiting time, I get a call that the towing guy is stuck with some other job. 3. If the towing guy was stuck in some other job, why was he allocated the job in the first instance. This is total negligence by AA insurance. 4. This is night time. A lady, stuck on a roadside, the delay and an unexcusable excuse given of the towing contractor stuck in another job, I believe is pathetic. AA road side assistance NOT TO BE TRUSTED. The company is mostly interested to sell batteries.
