I bought a Polaris strut assembly online. The armature plate/magnet coil surface was in bad shape. I made it work with a new seal sleeve but because the inner surface was wore all the clearances were not cool. Paid $180 and had to put an additional $130 into it to make it a sub par piece. I have never had a good experience with salvage parts, be it auto or off-road. This part is not available new so I took my chance.
