Don't trust Adexas own reviews...there bias and are hand selected by adexa! Have you noticed all of adexas reviews are 5 stars? Seems odd!?! I bought a mini oven from adexa based on the gleaming reviews on the website that was purchased slightly impulsively as I wasn't in the market for one. Soon after i received an email that basically said that 'IF you submit a review and if WE select it and publish it on our website YOU could recieve a discount code for a future purchase'? I noticed while browsing later on that ALL reviews are 5 stars so suspected they are obviously hand picking only positive reviews and totally disregarding negative ones? Im not suggesting this is unlawful but it certainly is questionable, the whole point of a review is to provide a fair unbias judgement of goods. Not only for customers sake to assess the quality of products, but can be useful for the company aswell. People shop with there eyes...if you see an image/symbols of 5 glimmering stars in a row you would be more likely to be drawn to these products. Don't get me wrong they sell some really decent carering equipment but I would avoid buying products for the home as they are badly designed and poorly manufactured. Don't buy b-grade from adexa! (I bought an office chair that had a backrest which tilted way too far back and couldn't be adjusted, it was extreme for myself and I'm rather light...After less than a year it gave way and snapped, not a massive concern it was only £60) Another product i bought from adexa was 'B-Grade Workbench' thats worktop had a type of manufacturered wood that was entirely unsuitable for purpose(cheap compressed chipboard) it arrived with an 1/8th shredded off so I immediately contacted them regarding this issue. I sent 3 emails that had sufficient textual information describing the damage along with photographic evidence. ALL of which were totally disregarded/ignored (unimportant and irrelevant to them) I still haven't been refunded for this item and could seek financial advice as this incident has inadvertently had an negative impact on my curent health issues aswell. Email is a valid form of communication and any complaints that a company recieves should be dealt equally alongside phone contact, not just snubbed! There customer services have no interest in hearing an negative feedback and advice from customers, and clearly has a profit-centric mentality approach that is embedded within the business and stems from the very top...any company that has a severe negligence to provide efficient customer support is acting unlawfully and should be investigated by trading standards. I doubt they are short staffed, its an attitude problem that is endemic not only within this company but others too and is unacceptable. This individual clearly cannot make the distinction between a screen and a human being. Conditioned by years in this setting has washed them of all morality(stone cold!) Do you have a soul? I also suspect that unless this paticular individual providing support has very strong allegiances with the company, whom has challenged a genuine/honest complaint unnecessarily harshly..must be recieving financial incentives from management?...(immoral and unlawful!) Customer services are obliged to investigate each customer complaint fairly with an unbias assessment.. (this isn't a retail/shopping type of environment) if companys are selling faulty/damaged goods that haven't been checked due to their own poor practice and procedures they aught to listen to their customers...apologise for there wrongdoings and neglegence, TAKE NOTE and make the improvements so this type of thing doesn't continually occur. Adexa DON'T INSPECT RETURNS FOR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER. The returned items cardboard packaging clearly hadnt even been opened. Maybe problems in the warehouse that need sorting? They're obviously not interested. ADEXA Only provide Stock images of products? All websites I've visited in the past selling b-grade items have images of the actual product you are buying..photographic evidence usually with someone pointing to the damage. B-Grade is a blanket term for any products that are damaged in some way. It can vary from a small strach/dint TO in my case major damage beyond repair(G-GRADE-absolute GARBAGE) Maybe amendments in the law that make this an essential requirement to prevent this type of thing happening in the future(would certainly slow down adexas slap dash approach) If you have a moral conscious AVOID ADEXA My email correspondence is below, my initial request is totally reasonable(despite being angry as its a bulky item that I've had to pay my local council £27 to remove) I was really disgusted by the swift snub so sent another email that had a slightly more threatening tone(reasonable) I still haven't received no response to this 2 weeks later
