Abysmal company, avoid at all costs!
My small business bought a metal cabinet for storing folders, when i went to assemble the flat pack, all the metal sheets, sides, doors and base were battered and because of this none of the bolt holes lined up.
we asked for a replacement but they said we never reported it within 24hours.
I read them the conusmers rights act 2015 stating we are entitled to 30 days to bring to their attention any defects. To which they replied, we bought it as a company and not a consumer so we are not entitled to the 30 day notice.
I then said i didnt get the chance to inspect the item and to refuse it as it had been dropped of by a courier when nobody was home. They said - "this is related to palletized items not items delivered by parcel service companies".
so in short no matter how you try and get a refund or exchange Adexa will have an out not to help.
