The engineer was competent and diagnosed the problem very quickly, no complaints there.
However to fix the problem a new masthead amplifier power supply was needed. I was told by the engineer that power supplies are not sold separately but this is not true, I bought a power supply for a tenth of the price I was quoted for your amp & psu and fitted it myself in 2 minutes. To be honest I feel like this was deceptive salesmanship to try and make me buy something I did not need.
