I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to African Overland Tours for making my journey from Cape Town to Victoria Falls (August 7th to 27th) an unforgettable experience. A very special thank you goes to Reshma, who supported me from the very first contact. She was exceptionally kind, patient in answering all my questions, and fully dedicated to designing the perfect trip for me, taking all my wishes into account. The guides on the tour were fantastic – funny, knowledgeable about the animals, and also great cooks and drivers. They truly made the experience unforgettable. The journey itself exceeded all my expectations. The landscapes of Namibia – for example the Namib Desert and its stunning dunes – were simply unforgettable. The experiences along the way, from a peaceful canoe ride, beautiful hiking on dunes, quad biking in the desert to helicopter flights over the Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls, were truly breathtaking. One of the most moving highlights for me was an encounter with an elephant. Sitting just three meters away, our eyes met for nearly ten minutes – an incredibly powerful and emotional moment I will never forget. In summary: this was not just a trip, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
