Last year I purchased a ztr530 from St. Clairsville AG Pro. I met with sales representative and explained that we were considering a zero turn mower to make cutting easier than it was with our lightweight cub cadet tractor. I did tell the salesman that we had quite a lot of hilly areas at about the same incline to the north of their building. He said that should not be a problem. They brought the tractor around and let me test drive it out in the front of the building. We found out very early on this spring that a zero turn mover with standard tires is not a good fit for hilly terrain. I recently went back to the dealership and asked if they had better tires for hilly terrain. The sales manager asked why I needed them. When I explained the unsafe operation of the mower on the hills, he stated " they should have never sold you that model if you have a hilly lot. Zero Turn is not for that type of yard.." When I was returned to my salesman, He said he was sorry and he agreed that he probably sold me the wrong mower. I asked what we could do to correct that, he stated we could trade it in for the right on for the job but we would loose about 40% of our purchase price. This mower had less than 20 hours on it and it is not something I can put my daughter or grandson on to run for fear of the maching careening out of control as it has with me 3 times now. Very unhappy with this lack of responsibility shown by the location for satisfying the customer and preventing accidents. Ted Williams Bellaire, Ohio
