“Ag Pro in Waycross Ga will not be here long unless they get some help that knows what there doing.
Took a mower that would not move they said it’s a pulley and they said they would order one. A week later I called they said they were still waiting on the belt. I said you didn’t tell me anything about a belt you said a pulley. Then they said yes you need a belt too. I called the third week they said we’re still waiting on your bearings to come in and I said what bearings? You didn’t mention anything about any bearings. and finally after a month I went to get the mower and they brought it out on the forklift instead of driving all my trailer so I knew something was wrong. It would not crank steel would not move and made an awful noise. They said it was skipping bad in the shop and needed a carburetor. The carburetor is fine. These guys just do not know what they’re doing.they charged me 300.00 A friend of mine put hers in the shop and they’ve had it three months. She’s had to pay someone three times to cut her grass when she normally did it herself. Ag pro needs to tighten up.”
“don't buy equipment from this place, they tell one lie after another. bought a stump grinder from the ag pro in valdosta ag pro. ben their 10 weeks now. issues from rayco. has not dune one thing about it.very dishearteing to spend 50 thousand dollars to ag pro and the did not stand behind their product.10weks and no stump grinder that i paid for.think twice before you buy from this company. i'm going to have to get a lawyer.they will finnance me another grinder but want to charge me another 10 thousand. do you believe that.leave theise peole along.they are crooks.”
“Why when a you receive a price, not a formal quote for riding mower but when you go online and ask for a quote, it co m es from Boston, GA not the local dealer in McDonough and why is their quote higher then the price you were told at the dealer. Seems it would be better to receive a quote from the local dealer as they would build customer relations, they who you would go for parts, service and warranty, not to Boston Georgia. Apparently am getting turned off dealing with local John Deere management ! Be nice to see what reasoning Ag-Pro uses”
“On 12 Aug 2024 I left my Stihl saw with Ag Pro, Lake City, Florida for repairs. It would stall out when cutting wood. 16 Aug 2024 I picked up the saw and paid $226.25 for it. The mechanic said it was the chain and bar. They charged me $106.92 for labor. It did not work. On 22 Aug 2024 I returned it to be fixed. The lady said they would not charge any labor for this repair as they did not fix it the first time. No one called me to pick it up. I went by the shop today, 10 Sept 2024 to pick it up. Now they said it was a fuel filter. They charged me an additional $47.52 for labor.
I will never take my saw to them again.
Wayne Eakins. Florida.”
“Thank you to Whitney Maeger & her Ag-Pro store for her customer service and after-hours support (on the 4th of July, when everyone else is enjoying their holiday) - Whitney was helping me find a part for a generator that was down while being used for Prime Power. She absolutely helped minimize the generators downtime.”
“$350.00 for a belt on a John Deer with
5 hours!!!!! Outrageous !!!! Lowes can have it back!!! SAD!!!!! Newnan Ga rip off
I don’t need a lawn mower that the belt cost $350.00… This is the second lawn mower the same thing happen STOP CUTTING!!!!”
“Customer Service was the worst I've ever experienced. After arriving at location in McDonough, GA to pickup my Zero Turn mower it wasn't ready and wasn't fixed and over charging. The office personnel need to be replaced if they can't provide friendly and accurate information to customers. I will never recommend this location to anyone.”
“this is the worst company i have ever dealt with, customer service is so bad, GM's pawn you off on other employees so they dont have to deal with you themself. i have dealt with jacksonville and ocala florida stores and corporate, all the same not worried about helping you just worried about what money they can make in any way possible. again worst company ever, going to Everglades for my equipment....still trying to get my 70k back with the running around about doing this or that...yeah this will be another 3 months fighting for my hard earned money they just want to steal.”
“They didn't. Service department in Chiefland, FL ripped me off to a tune of $900 for tune up on Gator and Zero-turn. Double charged me a few times. SMH.. I should sue them...”
“The Ag Pro in Greenville, SC sold me a piece of junk tractor. When I bought it, it has 2434 hours in it and was told by the store manager that it had been completely gone through and serviced. It was not and I have pictures and paperwork as proof. The hydraulic system would not hold my bush hog up so back in the shop. Got it back and made 1/2 a lap and the belt broke and it ran hot. I was told I had to pay $187 for a new belt. I have pictures of the air filter with about 10 lbs of red dust and dirt in the air filter, almost no Cool-Guard and if the belt was about broke they would have seen it when it was gone through. Got the tractor back and now it will not go in forward or reverse. The tractor now has 2438 hours on it. All this in 4 hours and most of those hours were from when it was in the shop.
I Definitely Would Not Recommend Them At All!!!”
“The worst dealer network in existence. I blame Deere & Co. for pushing good locally owned dealerships into selling to this conglomerate. Myself and many others will over time be switching brands to Fendt and CaseIH.”
“Needed a part for an old John Deere and our local dealer suggested we contact Ag Pro. Called the number in Hilliard OH and Shanna was extremely helpful. After sending photos and descriptions back and forth, found us the right part, was very quick and courteous. Will keep the contact information available for the next time that old tractor needs help.”
“It is interesting that there are no reviews about Ag Pro, Before you consider the company for anything you need to read the reviews at the BBB. I made my mistake by not researching the co prior to trusting them to repair my Tractor. When I dropped it off I was told for $100 they would give me a repair estimate. I got that estimate for $1400. I then discovered this was not a repair but only the first of more estimates. The repairs went from $1400 to 4400 to over $6400. I was charged more than the retail price for parts listed on the JD Retail Parts Store. At least tow of the parts costing more than $1200 are not bad. Who knows the condition of the other replaced parts as I do not have the capability to check them other than to reinstall them in the Tractor. they tied my tractor up for 44 days and in the end they do not care that they replaced good parts. They in fact blamed JD Service Reps for this saying JD told them to replace the parts. I figured at $100 an hour a person working on equipment they are suppose to be qualified to fix should be able to clean a valve that I figured out how to clean with no JD training. You really want to get a feel for this company don't just take my review at face value. Go to the BBB and see others. Also type in Ag Pro Employee Reviews in Goggle and you will get another interesting perspective. My best advice would be steer as far clear of Ag Pro as you can. If I ever need to hire another tractor mechanic I will try the Gardner looking for work in the home depot parking lot.”
