45 years ago I built an oak bookcase for my daughter's bedroom. I used Rustin's plastic coating to provide a durable, attractive finish. The bookcase still looks as good as new. Last year (44 years later) I was given a wooden loft ladder to replace the creaky aluminium one which had been in place for 50 years. It had been stored badly, and was rough. I sanded it down, and looked for some yacht varnish to finish it. In the back of a cupboard in my workshop, I found what was left of the Rustin's plastic coating. The polythene container had partly collapsed, but the product was still fluid. I thought the hardener would have gone off, so I tested a small amount, and found it was still OK! I coated the ladder with it (I had just enough for 2 coats), and produced a superb finish! So, when I recently made some shelves for my grandson's bedroom, I had no hesitation in ordering the same Rustin's product. 250 ml. would have been ample, but, expecting to have more similar jobs lined up for me, I decided to order the better value 1 litre package, in the sure knowledge that any left would remain workable for many years! AGW delivered the product in perfect condition, the day after I ordered it, and they kept me well informed about the delivery time etc. Faultless product, and faultless service!!
