If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Similar to other experiences listed here I downloaded an eBook and then got signed up for a very expensive paper based invoice based subscription service. High value content is generally free, or you enter card details so it's utterly clear that it's a paid service. Despite not engaging with any of the content, writing and saying that I do not accept the invoice, for the 1st time ever I've now been sent a final notice before debt recovery action. Literally 5 minutes after receiving the letter by post I got an email saying that it was being sent to a debt recovery agency. Other companies say that the content is good but these business practices are underhand, aggressive, bullying and downright nasty. You need to have a think about your company values.
