Scam company, they said i.owe them for a resources I did not even have access to. And now they passed to a debt collection company,I don't know how they expect me to afford 68.95 quid for some resources I did not make use of

Scammy business practices. I know them well - they tried to scam a charity I worked for in the past with their fake free trial that leads to an aggressively expensive magazine subscription. I managed to fight it but I know there are people who would have paid. I see cheques from funeral homes for £50, £40, even as small as £25. Those people literally put a few quid in the charity's pocket on their deathbed. I'll be damned if I let these disgusting Agora's take it. I work for a new company now and I've had the same experience - a cold call, an offer of a subscription under the guise that it's a free magazine with no obligations, and even after I asked them to never call us again, they called us again. Agora, please sack your staff, sell your assets, donate it all to charity, strike yourself off of companies house, and then burn down the building you operate in.

Most people who invest in bitcoin for the first time end up being scammed. The very fact that you are unfamiliar with bitcoin makes you vulnerable to scam, as the vast majority of mining firm websites are fraudulent. The hacker organization RecoveryHacker101 recoveryhacker101[at]gmail[dot]com has stepped forward as a result to fight for the return of your stolen money. Up to 95% recovery certainty is offered by recoveryhacker101. Brutal rippers stole 70BTC from my blockchain wallet by pretending to be it. This broke my heart because I was in such need of help and gave me a forlorn sense. I had great assistance recovering my Bitcoin from RecoveryHacker101.

Awful and very stressful business. I do not recall signing up and I haven't received any documentation. I spoke with their customer service, which is only open part time. I asked for details on what I had signed up, they couldn't tell me, I asked if they could share what I had downloaded, they couldn't tell me. The irony is the information that I could have wanted, I have access to though my professional body, therefore would have negated having this anyway, as this from what I can make out is very basic generic content from other users. I know have been sent a letter saying my debt has been passed to a collection agency. And yet, I still have no confirmation that I signed up or downloaded any resources. It is scary that you can be signed up this way and unlike any other subscription services, where you have to provide card details, so you know what you are signing up for after a free trial - this apparently you do not. It is very concerning that when you call and dispute this, you are told you have to pay. I have made an appointment at my Citizens Advice Bureau, with a view of referring through to Trading Standards. I do not want my credit rating impacted by a scam.

They have tried to charge me £30 for a subscription that I have not signed up for and have now passed my "debt" on to CCSCOLLECT who are now claiming I owe them £62 for something I have not signed up for and are sending threatening letters every 3 or 4 days demanding payment or they will take further action, this is causing us great distress as they are threatening us with bailiffs.

I received invoices for a subscription I had not subscribed too-I tried to cancel the “subscription” and as a result l received a letter Agora stating I had a debt balance of £492.84 and that my file would be transferred to a debt collection agency. I then received a Notice of Intented Action to pay £622.94 which now included admin charges!! I recently found out I have stage 4 cancer, had not been working since Dec 2023 therefore would struggle to pay (again I have absolutely no recollection of subscribing). I tried to explain this in an email to Agora (as their telephone number did not work) and then again got the collection company. Both of them totally ignored me. I did pay as I don’t need the stress and felt bullied into paying the debt. However reading the reviews I am now convinced it was a scam and I feel totally stupid and even more stressed!!!! An expensive lesson well learned 😔

Subject: Disappointing Sales Practices Concerning Care Quality Matters I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent sales encounter I had with one of their representatives regarding Care Quality Matters at Agora Business Publications. During a recent sales call with their representative, Kim, I was offered a free trial of Care Quality Matters, an information service focused on specialist care. While I initially showed interest in exploring the trial, the manner in which the offer was presented left much to be desired. Throughout the call, Kim rushed through what seemed to be the terms and conditions, leaving me with little opportunity to fully comprehend or respond. At one point, she swiftly enquired, "This includes terms and conditions who records to read over your company, and mentioned my company if is that correct?" to which I simply responded with a "Yes." In hindsight, I realize that I may have unwittingly agreed to terms without fully grasping their implications, as I was preoccupied with other tasks at the time. Despite assurances of transparency, the actual terms, including the post-trial pricing and cancellation procedures, were not adequately explained. Upon reviewing the terms and conditions provided after the call, I discovered additional charges and conditions that were not sufficiently disclosed during our conversation. Moreover, I am deeply troubled by the aggressive approach taken by their representative in attempting to secure a sale. The emphasis on pushing a product without allowing ample time for consideration or clarification raises serious concerns about the integrity of their sales practices. As a consequence of this experience, I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the conduct of their representative. Such tactics not only erode trust but also tarnish the reputation of their company. Therefore, I am inclined to share my negative encounter publicly to caution others about the potential risks of engaging with their sales team. I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and make concerted efforts to enhance your sales practices, prioritizing fairness and transparency in all future interactions. Regards, Zoltan

I had a disappointing experience with Agora Business Publications LLP. Their website promises valuable information and documents that you can use, and advertises a one-month free trial. I signed up without providing any payment details—no credit card or direct debit—as I assumed that access would simply end after the trial if I did not confirm continuation. Unfortunately, I was never able to access any of the promised resources. Instead, I was overwhelmed by a barrage of marketing emails. To make matters worse, I recently received an invoice for £79.00. When I contacted customer service to cancel everything and clarify that I had never agreed to continue the service or make any payments, they were unhelpful and still charged me £19.95 for services I never accessed. My advice is to steer clear of this company and avoid any offers or free trials they provide. They seem to operate in a way that borders on scamming, legally speaking. I regret not checking reviews on Trust Pilot beforehand. Stay away from Agora Business Publications LLP.

I have been chased for a subscription that I did not sign up for,I merely made an enquiry and am now being charged admin fees and late payments. This is very shady practice and I will be contacting trading standards along with the many others. You answer reviews with offers to resolve issues etc but this is just a ploy, you have never contacted me. I will also be posting on twitter if these charges are not cancelled.

I am receiving absurd bills for services that I never requested from Agora Business It seems like a scam, and I urge others to be wary of opening any suspicious links in the internet or Link in. I have no intention of paying for something I did not ask for, and I will make sure to leave an honest review of their services in all portals that I know. Please stop sending me letters.

Please avoid this company like a plague, very dishonest dealing. Advertised a free subscription only to get monthly invoices, now it's debt collection letters. Very shameful and depressing arrangement. When you finally agree to cancel what you never started, there's no way of contacting them. Terrible
