I would have rather not have pursued any compensation after my experience - or just do it yourself. After a 600 Euro eligible claim amount, my payout was 147 Euro. This accounts for their original service fees, which take a hefty percentage of the claim, but then an additional 50% gets taken when, according to them, they need to use external legal counsel to pursue the claim. Sure, you get update emails advising you of all of this, but there is never actually any proof provided about the airline responses (refusals, acceptance, etc) so you need to take their word for it. The time I put into it was not worth it.
