The driver was nice, but the bus was later than advertised and I had to climb into the luggage hold to get my luggage back out and the driver didn't help me. This was a manual handling issue and would have also been if the driver had been the one to climb in and get it out, so I think you should have some system (e.g. long stick to hook luggage with) to enable the luggage to be pulled to a part of the luggage hold where it can more easily be taken out.
