Aircoach was chosen because of availability and reasonable price at the time. I traveled with a full size hybrid bike. On the Aircoach website in the frequently asked questions, it states bikes are welcome but only when space in the hold is available. My experience was different. Two drivers quoted the terms and conditions. They both said that only fold-up bikes were allowed but they would break the rules and let my bike on if there was space. I had a worry some half hour on the pavement as ticket holders arrived and the hold fiĺed up. Fortunately, they were travelling light and there was room. The driver was then very helpful fitting the bike in. However, he made it known that he was doing me a favour. This is in contrast to the FAQs. Aircoach should have a stated policy that they will do their utmost to accommodate cyclists instead of making me feel under compliment and lucky to get on board.
