I took the 1pm (Clayton Hotel Leopardstown) today. I took it at 1.10 at StRaphaelas, Stillorgan. I was giving myself plenty of time to catch my 15.10 flight. We travelled into Lower Leeson Street, stopping at the usual Aircoach stops and picking up passengers. When we arrived at the LrLeesonSt. stop some passengers got on. Then, the driver left the coach amd entered the building directly beside the stop. I assumed he was using the facilities. Some 15 minutes later, the driver hadn’t appeared. We, the passengers were concermed, some leaving the coach and taking the next one that stopped. When the third Aircoach stopped, the remaining passengers, including myself, took that coach and continued our journey. We reached Dublin Airport at 15.05! My flight gate had closed at 14.45, I MISSED MY FLIGHT. It was necessary for me to book another flight to Malaga. The next flight was tomorrow at 07.25, the flight cost €75, a concessionary cost for ‘missed’ flights. I would like to know 1. Was the driver ill amd did he recover? and 2. Is Aircoach going to compensate me for my missed flight. Regards, Tom Gavin
