I travelled from Dublin Airport on 28.12.23 around 5pm to Stillorgan. (700 service to Leopardstown). The staff at the ticket booth were polite and helpful. The driver on the other hand was rude and obstructive. I was also surprised that while there was a digital display of the time there was none detailing the itinerary and planned stops. (Even third world countries have this these days on transport vehicles). The driver did not announce the name of any upcoming stops. One young female passenger intended to get off at RTE. When she approached the driver after he whizzed straight past, she pointed out that the information on your website specifies this is a stop. He threw his arms in the air and said "I'm not responsible for knowing where you want to get off". A few minutes later the same thing happened to a young male passenger, the driver informed him he would have to walk back about 15 minutes to his intended stop. It is winter and it was a dark and rainy night. Neither of these passengers were Irish. I found the incidents very embarrassing as an Irish person; so much for Irish hospitality and the great "Irish welcome"!! I'm sure the driver will remember me alighting from the coach as I turned to him and said "I would normally say thank you but I won't as you are just so rude". He retorted "Ah well, don't bother". I hope he doesn't have a passport to travel abroad and deliver his rude attitude in other countries.
